Nurturing Tomorrow’s Leaders

We equip young Tanzanians with leadership, digital, and enterprise skills, then stay beside them long after the certificate.

01 / Who we are

We don’t hand out futures. We help build them.

NuGenNext Initiative is a youth empowerment group based in Dar es Salaam, created to help teenagers build real-world skills for life, work, and leadership. Through events, camps, and hands-on workshops, we give young people space to learn coding, business, financial literacy, public speaking, teamwork, and leadership.

Talent is spread evenly across Tanzania. Opportunity is not. Our whole job is to close that gap, one mentor, one workshop, one placement at a time.

03 / Programmes

Four ways in.
One way forward.

Events, camps, classes, and meetups are all free to join, all in Dar es Salaam, and all ending with something you can show an employer, not just a handshake.

04 / How we work

Programmes end.
Relationships don’t.

01

We meet youth where they are

Recruitment runs through schools, community groups, and word of mouth, not application portals that assume a laptop and stable internet.

02

We teach skills that pay

Every programme ends in something tangible: a portfolio, a business plan, a certificate an employer recognises.

03

We stay after the programme ends

Alumni keep their mentor, join the network, and get first call on placements. The relationship is the point.

05 / The promise

What you’ll leave with.

Not a hand-out and not a hand-shake. Something you can point at, use, and build on.

Come in knowing how to use a phone. Leave knowing how to build the thing that runs on it.

06 / Where we work

Rooted in Dar es Salaam. Reaching across Tanzania.

Our home is Dar, but our cohorts run wherever young people need them, from coastal schools to inland community halls in Mwanza and beyond.

Makes sure every programme is reachable, so no young person is left out by how a room, a tool, or a session is designed.

Empower a young Tanzanian to reach the life they can already picture.

Volunteer an hour. Mentor a cohort. Fund a scholarship. Every route ends in the same place: a young person with options.
